Our growing directory serves as a home for hundreds of VR creators, entertainers, and other freelancers. Our community entrusts us with the simple expectation of being a hub of quality information, a role we take seriously. To safeguard this responsibility we are enacting a “Profile Quality” policy effective March 26th, 2023.
An incomplete profile is an all around lose-lose situation because those who are searching for VR services miss out on a potential vendor while the freelancer misses out on a potential client. An incomplete profile shows a low-effort work ethic in an industry where first impression matters. Such a bad perception is also not fair to other freelancers who properly fill out their profile as potential clients could become biased against them.
All it takes to complete a profile is:
Name (Real or Avatar name; this appears in the site's search results)
Picture (profile picture or logo)
Choose your Main Category (these appear in the site's search results)
Short description & About me (these appear in the site's search results)
All profile details are publicly visible unless otherwise stated. There is a profile completeness progress bar in everyone’s dashboard which should be a guide on what is needed for a successful profile. Pay attention to any triangular exclamation marks.
To ensure our directory remains the go-to source for VR freelancers, on March 26, 2023 we will:
Hide incomplete profiles from search results (this includes premium members)
